PODIFY Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Speechify, Inc. processes information when you use PODIFY.

Information we process

• Account information handled through Clerk, such as your email address, account identifier, and authentication data.
• Documents, pasted text, prompts, titles, format choices, generated scripts, and generated audio needed to fulfill your request.
• Basic device, request, diagnostic, rate-limit, and security information needed to operate and protect the service.

How we use and disclose information

We use information to authenticate you, extract source text, create and store your private podcasts, provide support, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures. Clerk provides authentication, Railway provides hosting and database infrastructure, Cloudflare R2 stores generated audio, OpenAI processes source material to create scripts, and Speechify processes scripts to create narration. When a PDF has no usable embedded text, PODIFY sends the PDF through a private, authenticated connection to SCANIFY for OCR; SCANIFY processes it in memory and returns recognized text without creating a SCANIFY account or retaining the source PDF. These providers and services receive only the information needed to perform their specific jobs. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and local storage

PODIFY and Clerk use cookies or device storage that are necessary for authentication, security, and session continuity. PODIFY does not currently use advertising cookies or optional behavioral analytics.

Retention and deletion

Original uploaded documents are processed in memory and are not retained after the request. Podcast records, generated scripts, and audio remain until you delete your PODIFY account. Account deletion removes active PODIFY records, stored audio, and the Clerk account. Limited security, legal, or provider backup records may remain only as reasonably necessary and subject to provider retention cycles.

Your choices and rights

You can delete your account from PODIFY Studio. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information and to appeal or complain to a regulator. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Email support@vidifyads.com; we may verify your identity before completing a request.

Security and international processing

We use encrypted transport, account-scoped access, private object storage, and short-lived audio links. No online service can guarantee absolute security. PODIFY and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries subject to applicable safeguards.

Adults only

PODIFY accounts are for people who are at least 18 or the age of legal majority where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Contact us if you believe a child has created or operated an account.

We may update this notice as PODIFY changes and will post a revised date here. Email support@vidifyads.com with privacy questions or requests.
